Blood Diamond

I just watched this movie...it was amazing. I have a new respect for Leo DiCaprio. Some parts brought me close to tears.

What do you think?

It was okay. Nothing special and entirely forgettable. Too much material with similiar plots.

That is true i feel the same way. But it was enjoyable at the time.

As for leonardo di cáprio, he isnt just another pretty face, he is a good actor. in this film he was good , but there are others when he was much better, in the "Departed" of scorcese and in that film about howard Hughes!, for instance. he didnt prove anything in blood diamond that the audience didnt already knew.

It's a decent movie, but not one I'd want to watch again. The whole relationship between DiCaprio and Connelly had me rolling my eyes. I'd say it was not different enough from other movies to stand out.

Mediocre is all I can really say.

I liked the movie a lot. Leonardo DiCaprio has been putting out great movies that I thoroughly enjoy such as the Departed, Blood Diamond, and Body of Lies. Not to much Jennifer Connoly is slammin'.

I liked it a lot as well. Also to note I hate Departed with a passion. Departed was a ripoff of Infernal Affairs.

I thought it was a good movie.
A bit of a problem with pacing and I didn't like Jennifer Connelly(she didn't feel right for the part).
But other then that, it was a good movie.

Leo! *screams*

Aviator, Gangs of New York, Catch Me if You Can. I loved all those movies. Blood Diamond though, I never could finish it, there has been plenty of films showing problems in Africa, murder, death, slavery *hands over mouth for saying some of that* though there is a reason I don't buy diomand anything.

The Hind Helicopter scene with the South Africans was pretty cool

I think Leonardo Di Caprio is an excellent actor and has taken part in several great movies. My ex loved Titanic, Man in the Iron Mask and Romeo and Juliet which i can understand but its hard for me to agree fully cos she's ***** and broke my heart. But Aviator, Blood Diamond, The Departed really hit the spot for me. He is not an unattractive man either.

I do like him and I think he's an excellent actor, but sometimes it does seem like he's trying too hard or forcing it...

He pretty much dies at the end of almost every movie he's in too. Maybe I should put that in spoiler tags haha.
