Funny stuff. But anyone who goes on Colbert is gonna be cornered from the get go. Pretty much has happened to every guest I've seen on his show.

Tis' a comedy show after all.

The great thing about Colbert is that by caricaturing right-wing nutjobs like Bill O'Reilly and Rush Limbaugh, he's actually giving Dawkins credit because the arguments he uses against him are so mind-numbing (just like O'Reilly's arguments against Dawkins were).

Basically anytime you go on the Colbert Report and Colbert agrees with you (like when he asks people like Dinesh D'Souza on), that's ridiculing your position.

True though the funny thing is, Colbert is actually a Roman Catholic and Sunday School teacher.

Now I'll refrain from explaining Colbert's humor but seeing how two other people already did, I'll say he's quite the comedian. Though one must know he is really is a devout Catholic, and probably one of the best kind. The type who can joke around with it once of twice.

It was as full, as heavy, and as long as this seven christmas eve's ago, you have labored on it since, it's a ponderous chain!

I was surprised by how witty Dawkins was in parts of the interview. You don't often see that side to him. He also busted some popular myths about evolution in a easily understandable way. I still think he ought to go read some philosophy of religion though. Nothing wrong with being an atheist, but major figures in the debate ought to know about the scholarship involved.
