Just trying to get some peoples thoughts running up to the release of NTW, So do you think Napoleon total war will be a amazing game or a sucky failure

Hell, how can people judge when they game haven't been released yet?

Because for the 99999999 time the last three games were bugfests and they just continue to get buggier.

What about a "Meh. It's fine." option?

What part of the screenshots makes people think the game will be groundbreaking?

I`ve been looking at the screenshots and see nothing new except extra bits of graphics. It`s what they DON`T show that makes me suspicious.

I think it will be `sucky`.

I liked Empire, so I properly love Napoleon

I voted "Sucky"

It looks pretty much like ETW with a few bells and whistles. That does not equate to "groundbreaking"

Based on past performance, the way CA left Empire unfinished and so must have been up to their necks in NTW bugs, the screenshots, the reviews so far ... I don't see a rational conclusion for "groundbreaking". The only thing that could convince people of that is their own giddy excitement based on hype. "A little bit better..." whilst vague and nondescript, seems plausible after what CA and Game Planet's review have said. "Sucky" though ... has a far more convincing ring about it to me.

I wonder if TWRehab will vote here.

i voted groundbreaking due to the multiplayer features..... we will see if this changes for me when the game comes out

It can't get worse than ETW, so slightly better.
Will it be a huge improvement? NO, because if they couldn't fix the BAI for Empires in their latest patch and they decided to quit patching empires for some time, then they probably are also not able to fix the BAI for NTW.

They can add a lot of extra features in NTW, but if the BAI keeps , NOBODY will be happy with the game, because we (core members Total war games) love strategy and the battles within it. If we can't get the feeling we have to use big important strategic decisions in a battle, the game will not be fun

It better be! And a lot more moddable than ETW too!

I think it will be better.

I have M2TW non-patched and it works very good to me. Only ETW was very buggy at the release...

I'm not even going to argue. 2 hand bug passive ai etc etc...

Yep, the two handed bug stopped me dead in my tracks after playing for 2 weeks, the English had no foot knights at all with that bug, and it took them ages to fix it, a game with just swordsmen and spearmen for inf was quite boring and not histoical to boot.

Back to topic, I am surprised there are more votes for it being 'ground breaking', than for the negative 'sucky vote'. Maybe I gauaged this forum wrongly, or it's to early because the grumpy one's aren't awake yet!
