Hotseat Difficulties

Greetings,

I would have posted this in the technical help forums, but those seem to be less active right now.

But, basically, I'm running a BC 2.02 hotseat in which multiple people have received their save game files, only to have Broken Crescent return them to the main menu when they attempt to load their turn. So, they are unable to play their turns. Most players do not experience this issue, but some have and I seem unable to help them (not being there in person makes it difficult). Are there any threads or ideas which address these issues?

As a side note, one of the players was found cheating. Would his cheating have somehow disrupted these save game files?

Alright, I know this is off topic, but I have to ask, could you, if you chose, play hotseat on the same computer against another person. Also, could I please have a copy of whatever file you had to change to get Hotseat active for BC 2.02? Thanks.

It would be good to provide their log file entries to see what errors cause the return.

Llandro, you asked already on the issue and the answer was given here long time ago.

If you haven't received any answers that's because apparently many users, including me, just don't know how to help you. And why didn't you send a PM to one of the guys who dwell in the Multiplayer forum? They certainly know what to do. It would be better than posting that you are waiting for answer for months.

Anyway, I'm moving this thread to the Tech Help Forum.

I don't mean to be a pest or a rule breaker, Wudang, I do apologize for this. I have asked and also been sent some PM's, however, their suggestions didn't really differ from what you gave me some time ago. I was just hoping to see if his files were any different.

You aren't a rule breaker, there's no need to apologize, I just gatherred posts concerning the same problem into one thread and moved it to the other forum, that's all.

Also, if it comes to me - there's certain level of help I can give you and it's hard to go beyond that.

I'd like to help you, but I think there's no other way than to apply all those advices you have received so far. Gigantus posted some answers on your request and he knows how to help.

All you need is ordinary bc.cfg file and those entries he posted.
