So I know other mods let you take a defeated nation's crown....any chance this will show up in the future? I feel so illegitimate without a Aragonese crown, but I wouldn't mind if I could get my Catalan hands on Siciliy's or Castile's![]()

Yes and all "little" crowns, like Bohemia, Navarra, Sweden...
in your export_descr_characters_trait:
;------------------------------------------
Trigger ctw1_kingofcastiletrigger1
WhenToTest CharacterTurnEnd
Condition IsFactionLeader
and Trait KingOfCastile < 1
and FactionType spain
and I_SettlementOwner Leon = spain
and not FactionLeaderTrait Offensive_To_Nobles > 2
and DistanceCapital < 30
delete factiontype...
but after all leader may be Rey de Castilla
Yeah...but then I get all the crowns at once. Any way to make it when I just take their capital or something?
Maybe : and I_SettlementOwner Toledo or the city of your choice, less the faction distinction.
How can I add crowns for the Bulgaria, Serbia, Armenia... ?

Not to nag or anything, but I was kind of interested in this as well... Are the additional faction crowns + triggers for obtaining foreign crowns still on the table for the coming patch?
This was one thing that I did like about the Stainless Steel mod. The one time I managed to defeat a Turkish Caliph near his capital Iconium, while playing as the Basileos of Byzantium, I picked up a Turkish Crown. Nice little trophy for a hard-fought campaign. It would be great to have something analogous in SV!

Noticed that a fellow over in SS took it upon himself to create new crowns for specific instances of faction achievement. Figured I would report in:
King of the Franks - Once either the R.Francorum Occidentalis or Orientalis manages to take both the other faction's capital and the other faction is eliminated, the Faction leader is crowned King of the Franks to mark the re-unifaction of Charlemagne's kingdom.
King of Italy - Once the R. Francorum Orientalis has taken every northern Italian city down to Spoleto, the Faction leader is crowned King of Italy.
I might look into doing something like this for myself, but at the same time, I am afraid it might unbalance the game completely if the Crown has any effects.
I have been planning to add more crown, and this does include the missing Serb, Bulgarian, and Armenian crowns. I just haven't had time yet. You won't see a King of the Franks title, this is actually the Holy Roman Emperor.
BUT, I want to do something special for the HRE title/crown in the Darkage campaign, so the W.Franks, E.Franks, and Italians can all compete for the title properly.

Perhaps if you defeat the other two factions your leader gets the title "holder of the three crowns".
I survived the Mayan Apocalypse 12/21/12
Just thought, if you say "Holder of three crowns", it could mean you hold three crowns, or you could have an ancillary card picture of some scribe carrying a bag of crowns for you, named "Holder of three crowns", haha.
I've got a question for SV:
Will you have the faction leader who vanquishes Faction X, and obtains the crown of Faction X, also be named King of Faction X in their character traits? For + authority and etc.? Lookin forward to your work, as always. Thanks
