    Definitely a must watch.

Some thoughts about it: those soldiers (it seems they're djinns) in the beginning remind me of persian ninjas from 300 while the eyeless witches (graeae?) look like something out of Pan's Labyrinth.

Pardon my ignorance but how old is this story?

Well for me it has a lot to live up to. I grew up loving the 1981 version. This has Worthington in it, which I like as an actor, but it could get FUBAR by the people in charge of it. At least that's what I'm expecting of it anyways.

Casting seems to be off to me, good actors in wrong and bad roles.

The original doesn't seem like much to me either.

    A fanmade trailer I found:

It was made in 1981, what the hell do you expect the graphics to be like? I can still most likely guarantee that this new one won't be as good as the old one though.
