Icon8 Very stupid feature in SPQR

Im invading Germania in my campaign, I captured to German cities that both revolted. What is so very stupid about this mod is that my army in the town became "Roman Rebels", how the hell does that work? The Garrison army is supposed to put down rebellions or if its to much there supposed to be kicked out of the city. Why the hell does your own army join the rebel cause for? This is very stupid. Now Im going to go back to my last save and take all my armies out of these towns so there will be one weak unit left, a small rebel force. This is just way to stupid, I hate it.

Precisely. Read about loyalty. Now imagine a general with full legion of veteran troops at his disposal far from Rome itself. Why not take power! Maybe gather more men and march on Rome.
Really, loyalty of army went down the drain. Its great feature. Since you never know.

Ya but it is sorta useless and stupid, its so easy to evade having large rebel armies. If you see one of your towns/cities has been rioting for more then two turns then you get just move all your units out of the city and leave one crappy unit in it. Then all the rebels would have is that, or do they make troops themselves?

They do. Also, the garrison script applies to the rebels aswell.
Not only towns rebel you know, you can lose generals with perfect armies like this if he grows too ambitious.

And it generally prevents the hacknslash uber army playing style, which is why I love it!
