    Default chaos problems

I get C'sTD very often when I battle Chaos, often before and after battles, it is a big problem and it made me sto playing the game altogether. Also during the battles with Chaos units around they often dissapear and appear again very fast (like, seizure-inducingly fast), and the same goes with fortifications during sieges making the battles unbearable to play.

I did not install the sound patch. Does it matter?
If yes: can I install it now or do I have to reinstall everything?

No, the sound patch should not cause the errors you are having.

I just looked at the EDU to see if what you were saying about the Chaos disappearing was because they can hide, but it is not. What is the unit detail set to on your computer?

Usually highest, high if it lags. But thats not the biggest problem, I can live with the units flickering. The thing that makes it impossible to play are the crashes (unspecified error, the game will now exit).

Here, try the script at the bottom of this post. It should prevent CTDS for the most part. You will have to start a new campaign however. Just extract to your campaign folder (C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\teutonic2\data\world\maps\campaign\imperial_campaign)

Will it change the game? I mean, like disabling some scripts, for example?

Unfrtunately, yes. That's the only reason that I can think of that your campaign keeps crashing. This happens with a lot of people, so I think/hope this will fix it for you.

Okay, thank you very much. But what scripts are deleted? I presume that scripted battles are. How about armies spawning? Or Chaos uniting?

Scripted battles are deleted, yes. But if you want, I can delete the unification script. And by spawned armies, do you mean the Immortal Chaos?

I don't mind the unification, as long as it doesn't crash my game . I dunno what do you mean by 'Immortal Chaos'. I meant like when I played as Talabecland and witnessed a lot of Khornate armies rampaging nearby provinces (they didnt come from the north themselves, too long of a way ), I like it, the game would be less fun without it, so I hope that it stays.

Immortal Chaos means that you cannot kill the chaos factions unless you take all of the cities belonging to each Chaos god. And those Khorne armies spawing in your base are most likely from scripted battles that they won.
