    It is somewhat disappointing to see the great heroes of LoTR lore become vile creatures. It is good for a laugh at first...

    But when it happens constantly it turns you off.

    I have made some modifications to edct that prevent the main good heroes of LoTR, (Treebeard, Aragorn, Gandalf, Legolas, Gimli, Bain, etc) as well as ALL elves, from gaining filthy traits like alcoholic, cuckold, lewd, corrupt, profane, drag queen etc. They can still gain the lower levels of some of these traits when they are created, but these will not progress or will do so minimally.

    This also includes a modification I had presented previously which will prevent characters (all of them, not just heroes and elves) from becoming any more ignorant than they are when created. E.g., if a character is not ignorant on inception, he cannot become so later, and if he is somehat ignorant, he can't become more ignorant.

    Instructions: Just replace export_descr_character_traits in the data folder. Save the original first. Made for TATW 1.4. Not savegame compatible. Not compatible with any mod that alters edct.

    You should definitely squeeze this one into rc/rr PB.

    Into the data folder. You know where, you export_descr_character_traits file is.

    Just kidding but, yes, it goes in the data folder.

    I asked because I extracted it to my data folder, but it did not ask to overwrite

    Oh, wait, this doesn't look good.

    If Aragorn the Malevolent became king of Gondor I wouldn't want to live there
    I would rather prefer to live with Noble orcs instead of malevolent humans
