    Default Strange death

It don't know if this is a bug or a game "feature" so i have posted here. What happen was that i was playing as the HE and fought a battle against the Orcs of Isengard. My army has 2 generals as well as other units. I won the battle and both generals came out of it ok. The oly message i got was that the enemy general had been killed.

The next turn i got the message one of my generals had died a heroic death and he was gone. Both generals were fighting at the end of the battle and both were alive and well.

    Has anybody experienced this before?

I've had this happen to me, in my siege with 8 generals as Dale.

I've got no "LuLz your general died you suck" messages in battle, but after it - I've got message that three of them died. Well, at least I've got one general as replacement!

once, as rohan, I was helping defend a Bree (invasion) and I tried really hard to save aragorn, I even repeated a battle twice but it was just impossible.
in 2nd battle (of 3) he survived with no bodyguards left - I managed to fight off enemy orcs with my cavalry charge. I was really happy but in the next round, it said he's dead...

    that really ruined my day
now that I'm playing OotMM campaign and my heroes are much weaker, it happens to me more often then I would find pleasurable
Yea I know the name is terrible, but it's not really finished.

You do not get any in-battle messages about the death of subordinate generals. Only commanding generals receive special attention. Nevertheless, the game does keep track of whether one of your supporting officers is killed or not.

Not true. At least not for enemy ones, so I assume it wouldn't be true for your own. I know i've killed 3 enemy family members in the same battle (all in one army, no reinforcements) and I got the enemy general has fallen message in battle for each one.

Usually you'll see 'noble death sword' for any of your general in battle.
And if commanding general dies you'll hear some remark (if cut-scenes are turned off) about "our foolish general".

Then truth is somewhere in the middle. I watched subordinate Faramir die in battle, saw no message about his death and yet he was dead once the battle was over.
