- The naval battle annoyance which causes too much micro managing and turns the battle into a click fest? Or at least balanced the grapeshot, boarding, etc which make them nearly useless?
- When you rout from a battle, you are able to choose where to rout and how far contrary to Empire TW where the game chooses for you? It is stupid to rout right next to another enemy army or miss that hill which could have saved your army in the next battle which brings me to...
- Your ability to choose terrain much easier and the game not randomly choosing some terrain which might be completely different to what the campaign map suggests.
- The annoying units who do not fire because one guy got stuck on a fence, running onto a tree or enemy cavalry touched him. Does NTW have an option to to tell your unit to "fire now" instead of being frustrated by the stupid pathfinding?
- How about the ability for dragoons, etc to fire while moving? Why was his not implemented in ETW?
- Or making units not fight in one on one combat. Even if you have 400 men and the enemy has only 200 only the front ranks will be fighting making numerical superiority a bit pointless. And when one finishes his fight instead of helping the other guy on a one vs one he sits there admiring the view. Its all nice to see the one on one combat but couldn't they have animations for 2 vs 1 as well? This can be expanded even more, like when chasing routing units or charging the back of a unit they stop just so the animation of the one vs one combat can start instead of the good old M2TW charge which decimated the unit or the one slash kill on the enemy back when chasing down routing infantry.
- How about everything about siege battle? You know, the grappling hooks, the village outside Paris or London and the minimum casualties that you suffer partly because of the AI and partly because sieges are extremely unrealistic.
If all these can't be answered someone please revive this post when the game comes out
