    Default Elven Battle Recovery

Elves are immune to all diseases, and they can recover from wounds which would normally kill a mortal Man
I read this at the Tolkien Gateway.

Anyway, I was wondering if this was, or could be, implemented within the mod. Perhaps elven generals could have a customized recovery trait to represent how elves recover from wounds more often.

Elven generals could be given a Battlesurgery trait, which increases the number of survivors that were casualties in a battle. Perhaps same could go for Dwarves.

    Interesting idea.

Maybe we could change the Battlesurgery trait to " elven magic healing " give some nice photo and that should make a job

Why Haldir die so easily? he have been back stabbed by Uruk-hai at Hornburg and Ouch!...

P.S. even Haldir didn't actually go fought in Hornburg battle in LOTR:TT book but I still wonder...
Its easy to make war with others, its never been easy when we need a peace.

My holy damn simple tactic; Strike First, Strike HARD and SHOW NO MERCY.

    Agree.

Also generals can have at start anciliares:
Isengard with +10% or +15% movement points (uruks good stamina and ability cover long distances).
Dwarves with -10% or -15% movement points.
    Gondor with +1 respect.
    Mordor with +1 dread.
    Rohan with +1 hapiness.
    Elador ??
    Rhun/Harad with +1 morale.

I dont think dwarves should be slower. First of all it would make the campaign boring. Second it's hardly realistic, just because dwarves can't run as fast as uruks or elves that doesn't mean their army can't move as well as others.

An army needs plenty of supplies every day that must be taken along, it's not really that relevant how fast the individuals in the army can run. And since dwarves are described as very strong and possessing great stamina I imagine dwarves would be able to march further without needing a break and being able to carry more supplies than let's say humans.

Stop hating the dwarves They could have 2 Hit Points more for the balance.
Or just +1HP and no movement penalty.

Doesnt seem fair that Dwarves would get a negative traid while the others get beneficial. Also I agree with this topic and your idea. There needs to be negative and positive traits. Elves would get a move bonus too it seems. Dont know exactly where i read this statement but I heard that elves have always walked lightly upon the land and do not fatigue easily.

Love the idea, would be perfect for your mod PB!

Do you think the devs will include this any time soon?

Probably not (especially considering 1.4 came out only recently) but PB might pop it into RC/RR. Tbh I direct all of my small "vanilla" ideas to PB so they'd be implemented faster via his submod. KK is too busy with bigger things.

Here's one example, straight from the RC/RR tread:

I've some ideas for general racial traits, for example:

Silvan Elf: +1 command when commanding archers, +1 command when ambushing, increased chance of recovering casualties (elves heal faster and endure wounds/disease better)

High Elf: +1 command (capable warriors and leaders in general), +1 troop morale (high elven spirit), increased chance of recovering casualties

Orc: +1 command when attacking (aggressive), +1 command for night battles, X% bonus to looting

Uruk: +1 command when commanding infantry (uruks are better organized and more infantry based), +1 troop morale (uruks are more zealous, more eager to fight, not as likely to run), +1 for night battles

Rohirrim: +2 command when commanding cavalry (obvious), +X% to movement points (mobile largely mounted armies, even foot infantry can ride to battle and then dismount, Rohirrim have enough horses to acommodate this). No third bonus due to +2 to cav command.

Dwarves: +2 siege command, bonus mining income, X% discount on buildings (prolly 10%) I know what I said about rohirrim but sieges are rarer.

Gondor: +1 infantry command (infantry based faction), +1 command when defending (defense/tank oriented faction) + 5% or more to law (again they are disciplined, defensive, provinces are loyal)

You know things like that. There could be penalities too.

It increases the number of men who survive. Battles only produce 'casualties', and its decided after the battle how many of those actually die, and how many recover. Battlesurgery increases recovery numbers. It could be renamed to something more Elven-appropriate as has been suggested.

Rohirrim should get better movement, Rhun/Harad tax bonuses (horselords best riders in middle earth and the black numenorian lords of the south and east were noted to be tyrannical
The Duke of Dunwich and surrounding fiefdom

For any who are interested by my FF on occurrences in Rhun and beyond; I have begun a new project (not because the old one is finished, just opening more room for ideas) about one of the minor characters, Rankal. It is in the Third Age AAR index and here is the link http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=376994

I dont think, that rohan move long distances.. Yes, they are fast and deadly in combat. But in logistic (on campaing map) they IMHO is average.

    Rhun/Harad tax bonuses
    Here i think will unbalance.
