    Default late hospitallers

i played now with KOJ till round 1310 and the late hospitallers havent been triggered yet.
when or how do they get triggered?
their description suggests that they should come up mid 13th century. did I miss them?
I didnt find no event triggering them, neither in campaign_script nor descr_stat

I pretty much anticipated this silence
well... great unit though.. I just had to add it "manually" to the KOJ faction...

i'm not 100% sure but i think you'll get them regularly when the mongols arrive (~1325)

There's an event in EDB that enables the recruitment: 'templar', but I can't locate it.

    Small correction.

Also I'd like to say that we will probably resign of all those late order units, because KoJ is already overloaded with units (31 in the roster, it's a madness ) while other non-European factions have much less units.

True! the unit roster is big... but then again it can never be big enough...
that s y i readded the unused units listed in the unit_models such as
(e.g. jerusalem_spearmen, jerusalem_crossbowmen etc about a dozen of them) they good looking, and ready for battle
what I still didnt understand, how is it that KOJ cannot recruit christian but muslim levies, while muslims recruit christian styled levies... Latins in Outremer didnot arm their muslim subjects, but drew upon the native christian population for recruitment...

back to the subject: did anybody ever recruit any late hospitallars? if so, where, which city, when?

    In BC2:

Time wise, the late Hospitaller knights should appear upon the trigger of "event Templar" (around 1307)
Regarding the regions and buildings, it has to be regions labeled as "crusade_call" (acre, antioch, jaffa, and jerusalem) , in building called bc_hospitaller, built only in the city.

In the same time, the early hospitaller model will cease to exist, as well as all templars. So, the theoretical roster size is really irrelevant, since some units just get replaced during the campaign, and some go away completely.

    Hope this helps

Ah, yes. I haven't thought about that.

But, there are still between 10 and 20 unit slots taken by units that are available exclusively for one faction only.

But they are good though. And they are also part of one of the most popular factions so it is not as if they are not adding anything to the game.
