the vampire diaries

(or something like that) is suposed to air here soon, apparently according to the tv channel, it's a top show, a great sensation (but they said the same about ncis la wich is crap)

annyone know it? I gues it has vampires, and those are cool, so i might check it out. Or are these vampires going to be twilight emo vampires?

Probably they are same group as Twilight... Well, that is my opinion to those who write dairy...

I dismissed it as another stupid vamp-romance trying to cash in the Twilight frenzy....and it is. I watched the first episodes, since my sister kept insisting. When the bad vampire read "Twilight" and dismissed the book saying something akin to: "Edward is a fag" and "And why is everybody obsessed with Bella?" I decided to give it a shot.

The romance parts are pretty stereotypical and predictable but at least the vampires are vampires. No sparkling, sunlight kills, wooden stake kills etc. Plus a whole lot powers of evil doom. And, not drinking human blood has actual disadvantages (turning your eyes gold is not one S. Meyer, you ). And we have a cool vampire that kills for fun, manipulates people etc.

As a Twilight hater, I find the series enjoyable at times and not too horid. Nothing great either.

They'll never make a show about real vampires...

Can someone explain to me why vampires of atleast a hundred years old; always go for 16/17 year old girls?

More gullible?Or perhaps because when they were human, 16/17 was the average marrying age....

Screw that , once you seen the Lost Boys then there's no better vampire film.

The only show the CW seems to be able to bank on is Gossip Girl =/.

i bought the whole 1st season over xbox live and i have to admit i enjoyed it very much... does that decrease my manly level??

i knew i shouldnt have told anyone, the series stuck to the "vampire rules" a hell of a lot better than twilight and that was a plus
