I would like to apply to become a citizen of this great forum. Since I have joined TWC, I have been involved in helping the TWC Multiplayer communities, which is my primary focus here.

I would like to become a citizen so I can continue to contribute to the MP community here at TWC. It is a thriving community here I like to assist. I have written a MP guide for the RTW and ETW Mutilplayer sub-forums, and gave advice to many of the new TWC MP players on this forum. With the help of |Sith|Count_Max and FearofNC, we basically brought at least a dozen, if not more, popular or new MP players to the MP sub-forums here. We help change the environment of the MP arena here.


Not only did I contribute by doing tournaments and such, but I have brought in several top MP players to the sub-forums here, like I stated above, with the help of the above who are named. They would have not otherwise show up on this forum if it wasn’t for us. I been helping to bring the MP community into the spotlight here at TWC. I have written several ES articles and SS articles relating to TW Multiplayer and my work has been highly praise by the late Calvin, Viking Prince, Armatus and Y2Day. I strive to do my best on this forum.


I also have made a Interactive History sub-forum to this forum, with being a active mafia player and I also take part in a few of the Alliance games hosted here. I have been in several good debates in Garb’s Fight club, made several popular threads in the D&D and been a long time writer for the ES and SS publications.

On a final note, my goal always was and will be to help the MP community here at TWC to grow/. I hope I can become a citizen so I can contribute further and so I can inspire the TWC MP community to do more also.

I've known Warman for several months at this point (I suppose "known" is rather subjective but anyways), mostly through our interactions in the Mafia Game sub-forum. It's there that I have developed an appreciation for his style and while others might not necessarily be fond of it I believe his contributions to the TWC are well deserving of citizenship. While he has been a very active member of the forums, writing for the Eagle Standard, Silver shield, maintaining the Multiplayer community, it is from the Mafia forum that I have learned the most about Warman. The zeal and dedication to the games (something lacking in many of the players btw) also shines through the above mentioned contributions. In addition he frequents the debate and discussion sections where he does his best to create thoughtful and engaging threads.

That being said, his contributions to the Multiplayer community, his writing contributions (for which he has earned a golden quill) and his dedication to the Mafia Sub-forum alone warrant citizenship so I've decided to put him up for your consideration.

I won't break SND but suffice to say that he's done advertising, triple copies of the same thread, etc. His attitude is nice enough but I'm not sure if that's all we need to become a citizen. About the MP Community, they aren't much better than he is. In fact, most of them are far worse. Do we really want that represented in the august halls of the Curia?

I have to agree on what legio tells us here, i have seen some of his contributing threads in the Eras MP forum and they are just spam threads. It is also kinda disappointing that he didn't include some links of his contributions. But still i need to do some more research before making the final decision.

Are you referring to his little incident in the MAARC? Because i remember he got banned or removed from the competition for cheating which afterwards resulted in a removal from his content writers function.

I did a quick scan of 4 pages in which he answered 4 times (his first post included). To be honest i even don't see him having a real discussion his posts only contain 1 sentence. I think this is a bit to short to see as a contribution in a debate.

hardly an august start to the debate for this candidate. If even half of what the moderators are suggesting is actually true, this is a clear no from me. Regardless of contribution, the behaviour demonstrated is very much unbecoming of a citizen.

I don't see enough in the way of meaningful contributions for a yes from me. Particularly from what I've seen of his in the D&D. One liners that do more to derail a discussion than contribute. I'll have to do more research, but I'm leaning toward an abstination or no.

Based on what everyone has been saying about this Candidate, I'm going to have to say no at this point. I'm still gonna go through the motions to see if I find anything exceptional, but his attitude and past actions are going to make it hard for me to vote yes.

My computer connection is a bit fuzzy at the moment, but I cannot say that I have seen a negative attitude on his part in the RPG. But then, most of the RPG seems to be a bit spammy at times. I think that is part of the attraction, just as Dungeons was in my earlier days in Wisconsin summers. This is one reason that RPG members have a difficult time rising in rank without other TWC interests.

He has indeed contributed to staff content writing in a number of publications and I would suspect that will continue in some manner regardless of our decision. He has indeed earned his gold quill.

His contributions to the D&D side of things is not claimed as being a reason for this application due to the predominately one line posts that are lacking in both substance and contribution on the issues. Hew is more of a here is my position or comment and now I shall move on type of a poster. To some this may seem to be a debit on the ledger, but for me it simply means his interests lie elsewhere on TWC.

At the moment, I am leaning towards a yes due to only the content writing.

Continue writing for TWC publications, and post with more substance. If he keeps up with the TWC publications, and behaves himself, I think he has a good chance the next time around.

Quills are awarded for time served, not substance. And I meant if he carried on with his publication contributions and behaved himself in the future I would be more inclined to vote yes. Basically, keep on what he is doing, but don't cheat and post with more substance. Many of his threads in the MP area of the forums are indeed spammy as other councilors have pointed out.

I may be really off base here, but I think that he only has a bronze quill. At least that's what it said in the medal description on his profile page. Not that it matters anyways.

Also, I abstained because I didn't feel comfortable with an outright no, but I felt there was some more to be desired for a yes.
