Well, basically if I play as coalition would the Emperor be a general as well as a ruler? And if so then would he move around, fight battles, or stay in Paris all the time?

Also, since there are limited number of "real" generals does that mean that the player would not be able to play past the finishing date on the campaign, as in Empire? How can we have battles without generals, lol.

    Thanks,

PS: Can't wait to hold that Napoleon statue in my hands. It's on a pre-order.

I believe the way it will work will be that Nappy will himself act as a general in your battles. If he is killed he retuns to Paris and if killed again your game ends... I THINK I read this somewhere! Don't know about playing past the end date. Also... statue?

Yea but if you plays as GB for example, does killing Nappy mean game ends? I'm thinking in a situation where Nappy attacks some army and if he gest killed by another faction without me doing anything, lol.

Statue from the Emperor's Edition thats is exclusive to Australia from EB Games.

when playing as france, if Napoleon gets killed, he goes back to Paris and doesnt appear again in the rest of the campaign, but appears again in Egypt if he got killed in Italy or appears again in europe if he got killed in egypt

every other nations generals just die permanently

if u kill nap whilst playing as someone else i think the same happens, he just goes back to paris and directs things from there as emperor but isnt a general anymore

You can still play beyond the ending date of the game accourding to an interview with CA. So you can still conquer the world as you like
