this mod looks so good but im not gd with computers
i instaled it but the bad units had like 27 defence
what did i do wrong?

very easy process.
First have your Rome Total War installed. Download a patch 1.3 and 1.5 for Rome TW and install them, Install any expansions you have BI and ALEX. Run Roma Surrectum Installer and install it to you RomeTW directory and woalla, bob is your uncle!

Are we to assume that the install went correctly, and the game runs but you have an issue with the unit stats instead?

Bad units have big defence...
In RS all units have high stats (for example legionaries might have 30 attack and 70 defence for example) so I think your install went correctly. So despite having a 27 def a bad unit will still get eaten away by a good unit.
