It isn't very good and the dialog is often contrived but there are plenty of good looking women, so it's not a total loss.

I've seen the commercials and I've seen clips from it. That's all I need to see in order to decide that I should not see anymore of it.

My friend loves it. Enough reason for me not to watch the show as well.

Screwed over the books, I tried watching it but I just can't stand the differences with the books :/
Otherwise I might have enjoyed it

Perhaps I'm the only person who thinks it's a great show. And I have not read any book(s) related to the series.

    That's probably why
Else you just get too much annoyed with all the stuff they leave out
I suggest you only start reading the books once the whole series has been cancelled, else it will ruin the experience

IMO regardless of "accuracy" and the fact that I dont read the books this show is entertaining. Its lacking in a few ways but is better than most action shows or at least on par with them on TV right now.

Its entertaining, and its also the only fantasy show on TV... reason enough to watch it. Its not anything above mediocre for me though. I've seen better fantasy type shows in Anime recently, on american TV this type of show is rare. I also think that those two UK medieval/fantasy type shows Robin Hood or Merlin (or whatever it is called) are absolutely horrible, far worse than this show.

I found Merlin actually enjoyable, probably because of the incredible hotness of Morgana, I'm in love with her
It also had to do with the fact that they took a complete different approach with the legend, they revised it completely, and I do like, however inaccurate it is.
Probably because there were already so many different versions of King Arthur, one more didn't really bother me.
