Re: Depressing to read forums
Hear hear.
I recall being devestated when I upgraded my computer and ME1 would always CTD after a few minutes on the campagin map. (I was young and thus couldn't solve the problem.)
So they do mean alot.
But I agree that not one of them is perfect, still good, but with so much more potential...
When I found this forum, I was all; 'New and better content for M2TW? WIN.'
(The discovery was very recent, and cause M2TW(TATW and SS
) to equal the hours of which I play TF2 now.

Re: Depressing to read forums
Don’t be too depressed. Part of the problem with M2TW is a problem innate to any sequel: living up to and improving upon the original. MTW was fresh and innovative. It was truly and upgrade of Shogun, and it took the setting to a completely different place, Europe. However, I personally feel that most of what CA did with M2TW was a step up from the original. That “I wish they did more with this game” feeling is in a way a tribute to the game itself. The wonderful modding community also speaks highly of the game, since if the basic engine was not sound, no one would want to mod it.

What would this game be without this forum, nothing close to what it is now. I would just be nice to see a gaming company take as much pride, but now days companies seem to be all about a quick $.
