The musical structure of Death Metal

Now I'm not saying Death Metal is bad I myself like Dethklok, but you must admit it lacks any melody, it's just AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGHHHHHHHH

With a guitar riff that's

And no difference in the Bass, making it a useless instrument.

Drums is the only thing were I hear something, but no different than a caveman crushing skulls.

As any form of music it depends entirely on the artist in question. Some Death metal bands do sound like a drunk hobo with bronchitis with dull instrumental segments but there are plenty of creative bands out there to. Sadly I'm not exactly to familiar with Death metal so I can't provide examples.

Ok this one at least plays different notes on a single riff, but where's the bass? And the Drums, Percussion is meant IMHO for rythm, to make the whole band follow a beat.

But that sure doesn't apply to Death Metal.

It's like the drummer over there is trying to sound faster than the guitar strings, bashing the thing as fast as he can.

I like the instrumentals of death metal it's just the voices I have no time off. It's not menancing, or scary, it's just laughable.
