For those who might be interested by how France, its towns, roads, forests etc looked like in the napoléonic era this excellent site coupled the maps of the Cassini family with googlemaps.
The result is often surprising of accuracy and is excellent for those interested in the operational part of the warfare of the time because you can see the main roads, the easy access, the choke points etc.
Sadly, only France is covered. So it can be of use mainly for the 1814 campaign (the maps for the east of France are very accurate, you can compare them with the modern satellite view, the result is incredible... The maps of others areas (the basque country for exemple) can be far less accurate however) or the "what-if" leading to a potential 1815 campaign.
