Hi, will marching bands sound like these for the appropiate faction? In another thread you said they would have fifes and drums and in yet another response by either you or Kieran said that there would be bagpipes, but what about parade style marching music with very elaborate bands with a variety of sounds?
Here's just an example below, it's the second march called La Victoire Est A Nous. Aside from if my French troops will be marching to it, will it sounds like the version in the video or just simple fife and drum?

Yes, thats is one of things we will be modding. And Victoire est a Nous will be the main French tune, but I will try and get it in fife and drum.

By the way, the video above was made by me, look at my YouTube avatar, look familiar.
Formally known as 'Marshal Beale' - The Creator the Napoleon TW mods - 'Napoleon Order of War' and 'Revolution Order of War'

Oh wow, surprising. But why drum and fife version? I think the version at the end your video sounds better. Both are good though.

'Cause the players tried to take the field, the marching band refused to yield.

yup... would be very interested in this - as of now ETW has not fife and drum... just the drum roll. i know the community has put alot of effort in making mods for this, but have run into quite a few difficulities creating them for faction specific songs (there is nothing like fighting in india and with the Dutch against the natives and hearing "yankee doodle"...

either they should include this or make it easier to mod... on their end, it would be easy to implement!

I'm asking for more than fife and drum for continental European factions and for them to play appropiate real-life marches for the factions. And besides, what if CA keeps the drum roll and just adds in a fifer into it?

There's another tune, called "Triumphe de Trajan" (I think) that would also be great for the French.
