I have a dream, that one day, Roma Surrectum will have a massive number of people that battle online.
I have a dream, that people will start playing through hamachi LAN networks.

ok, new update:
there will be 2 NEW HAMACHI NETWORKS, one called Roma Surrectum-Europe, the other Roma-Surrectum-USA.
both passwords will be : tonedvk
As the majority of the forum have time zones of GMT/+1/+2 (europe), or they are in american time zones, we could set up 2 "league tables" (rather like football in the UK), one for european players, and one for American players, and organise battles through the above hamachi network, and at the end of, say, each fortnight, we could could up the points (explained later on....), the number of men dead and the number of men you killed, and see who won
the points system could go like this:
ALL GAMES SHOULD BE PLAYED ON THE MAP "grassy flatland" TO MAKE IT FAIR TO BOTH SIDES, and the amount of money should be between 15,000 denarii, and the unit size should be on "normal" (as most RTW vanilla multiplayer battles)
Close/Average/clear victory-1 point
heroic victory- 3 points
defeat-0 points
and work out the "amount of men dead" difference,
i.e. "amount of soldiers you killed" - "amount of your soldiers dead" = ..................

to those who don't know it:
6 max of the same unit;
8 max cavalry;
no artillery or elephants;
2 max berserkers;
2 max horse archers or chariot archer;
javelin cavalry are counted as normal cavalry;
no "corner" or "redline" camping;
8 max archers
