Yes Ragusa under Venice is a good plan because Venice will be much more implied in the Balkan Peninsula and fight against the Byzantine Empire and the Ottoman Empire. Adding Principality of Achaea is also a good plan because it will ballance that part of the map together with Knights of Saint John! Very smart thinking!

agreed...
I wanted Ragusa too. I guess Achea is a better option.
maybe some Ragusan, Dalmatian and Croatian units could be added in the game to other factions, as rebbels or as mercenaries! I said Ragusan units because Ragusa, or Dubrovnik if you preffer, was a very strong port, with a large fleet and superiour to other Dalmatian city ports. Ragusa as part of Venice is good because Dubrovnik was in the past part of the Duchy of Venice or an important ally at the Adriatic See and in the Balkans!
well, we can still remove Moldavia (it was not independent in 1345.), and add Ragusa...

The first Vlach state in that area was Halych that existed from the early 13th century and was inhabited by the Brodniks.
In 1353 Dragos a voivode from Maramures established the Moldavian state centered around Baia but he was vassal to the Hungarians.
In 1359 Bogdan another Vlach voivode from Maramures crossed the Carpathians, took control of Moldavia and freed the state from Hungarian control.
Before them there existed small factions with Vlach rulers and until the 13th century parts of Moldavia and Tara Romaneasca or Wallachia were part of the Cuman state.
I think Moldova or Moldavia should be included because it existed as an independent state in that period: 1350's...

Wow, i definetly do not agree from a gameplay point of view or a historical point of view Ragusa would be a one-province faction which would be wiped out in a matter of turns. Also, the battles of the Wallachian voivode's against the Ottoman Turks I'd say are far more relevant for the game. At the beginning of the 15th century Wallachia was a regional power, with enough influence to interfere in the internal affairs of the Ottoman Empire.
Also, I hope Moldavia won't be removed from the game either in favour of Ragusa. After all the Moldavians did defeat one by one the armies of Hungary, Poland and the Ottomans in the reign of Voivode Stefan the Great:
"Stephen achieved fame in Europe for his long resistance against the Ottomans. He was victorious in 46 of his 48 battles, and was one of the first to gain a decisive victory over the Ottomans at the Battle of Vaslui, after which PopeSixtus IV deemed him verus christianae fidei athleta (true Champion of Christian Faith)"
I agree with Wallachian- Wallachia must be presented in the game. But on other hand, they are just like Ireland-I can't see them makeing large expansion.
Movdova just have to be in the game balancing Wallachia. If there are no Moldova, Walalchia will make the size Romania had after the WW1.I once again want to present my idea(if you decide not to make Moldova) to use Golden hord/Tatars.This will balance the north-east part of the map.
By "Halych" you mean Halych-Volhynia, aka Galitskoe Knyazhestvo, aka Galicia-Vladimir, aka Kingdom of Rus, which was inhabited by Brodniks, aka Russians? Which is Vlach because of... Volhynia, although that's one of the oldest Slavic regions?
As for Wallachia - don't worry, there's absolutely no way of removing it, it's far too important in the mod's frame. For Moldova - I don't know, that's the team's choice...
I had voted for Ragusa, but I agree it's better to include Achaea and eventually Moldova, given the balance issues etc.
