For the map posted see below ragusa would be the best option cause Achaea has no lands to go to.
Cause athene is from athenes. Mistras for roman and methoni should be venice.
So thats why i picked ragusa. But also i think greece will get pretty active already whit serbs, byz, venice and athenes.
Futher more ragusa is a trade rebublic the team decided to remove one (genua) cause the homelands not on the map?
So ragusa has the homelands on the map and could also try to take the ilands gunua had. Next to that it would balance venice naval power a bit now genua is gone.
probably both will be in game, and Achaea could have Korinthos and Methoni as cities, as they are free, and in the beginning Achaea had whole peloponnese peninsula, while later collapsed a bit, so not sure known what territory did they have in 1346
Ragusa is fine, but it would have only one city, should dalmatia (jadar/zadar) also be theirs?

Well no as methoni is a venetion city and venetion controlled serrounding. Also corinth was a city that was under controll of the Ducy of Athens the main city of the principality of achaea was Argos. (in 1346) ( so if this faction should be historical present give them argos.)
From ragusa terroties i have no idea yet
this map http://z.about.com/d/historymedren/1...eurse1340b.gif you posted proves that venetia should hold methoni
Another fun this might be the city of Butrinto was under the kingdom of naples .
I have a map from parts of asia minor and balkan in 1346 so thats why i am trying aining to help you
Here i made (a bad attemp) to help you a bit http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=325737
Ragusa was a city state with only one region for most of its existence, while I dont know anything of the Achaeans. But as Ragusa was a large city, it can perhaps indeed nerf down venice (who owned all surrounding territory, Split Zadar and the Dalmatian Isles).
Perhaps you can make another region with capital Krk for the northern dalmatian region, or add Sibenik or Split (once traveled down the coast there while visiting all the more important medieval buildings (was Istria - Zadar/Nin - Sibenik - Split - Dubrovnik - Bari (IT), we skipped the isles) So most important towns were in the Zadar region, but I thought that the isles were independent from the non-coastal mainland cities. By the way, was the capital of istria not Pazin?

Achaea.
Ragusa was a merchant city which didn't expand to inland by force, they liked more to buy the land from their neighbors then wage wars.
I agree with Clandestino, Ragusa is a commercial power, like Amalfi, Pisa, Sienna....not potientially "imperialist" like Zena or Venexa.
I just realised something... Where is Naples? is it Napoli? if it is, its wrong location because Naples is near Vesuvius (the volcano that destroyed pompeii and herculaneum)
Achaea .
Acording to french travelers that wrote their expirience of Achaea they said:
"There[Patrae]they speak the french langauge better then France.
Their knights are the strongest of all europe.
The king that will have them as allies will never lose!"
TGC in order to continue its development seak one or more desicated scripters to put our campaign scripts mess to an order plus to create new events and create the finall missing factions recruitment system. In return TGC will give permision to those that will help to use its material stepe by step. The result will be a fully released TGC plus many mods that will benefit TGC's material.
Despite the mod is dead does not mean that anyone can use its material

It is at wrong location, it should be more west. Bari and Palermo are also at the wrong places.if it is, its wrong location because Naples is near Vesuvius (the volcano that destroyed pompeii and herculaneum)
Yup,they're quite wrong.
Don't worry, I've posted the correct locations of many cities on the Development forum. They'll be fixed soon enough.

great!!
Istria was devided between Habsburgs and Venice ( after the latter absorbed the remaining possessions of Aquilean patriarchate ). So Pazin was the administrative center for Inner (i.e. Habsburg ) Istria while Venice controlled the coast. The Venetians moved the administrative seat a bit but eventually the most important city also in administrative aspect became Koper ( which was one of the largest sea towns in Eastern Adriatic - I think that in middle ages only Dubrovnik and perhaps Durazzo were larger). Things in the Northern Adratic changed drastically later on, especially in the beginning of 18th Century, when Habsburg Trieste begun to prosper.
