A very noobie question.
Is RTR platinum and EXRE separate or does EXRE build onto RTR PLAT?
thanks

Eugeni - it's all good, nothing wrong with asking a few questions.
EXRM installs in your directory as a separate folder, so I'd imagine it works with other modswitch/modfoldered games, for example RTR - Fate of Empires. I don't know enough about the technical workings of the game to be able to give a definitive yes or no answer.
Hopefully Quinn, or Carados, or someone who knows a bit more than I do will post on this soon and be able to guide you a bit more.
You might want to try looking in the downloads thread; there should be a few instructions there which may be of use.
Whilst Extended Realism is similar in style to RTR Platinum, it is an entirely stand-along modification as far as installation and playing is concerned. You do not need RTR to play Extended Realism. You should install it into it's own Mod directory in the RTW directory, not into the RTR mod directory as this would mess both of them up.
I personally make a copy of my entire original RTW directory for each mod and then install the mod into that copy, thus eliminating the chance of a booboo by either me or the computer![]()
These are pretty good answers, so I don't have much to add. Do you have any other questions?
