Well, its been awhile for me at least, since I've seen 24, so anyone hyped up?

Granted everything occurring in an hour time span, and him killing terrorists left and right may get a tad repetitive, but hey its still a good series

A pretty addictive show until you realise that it's utter shite. Took me about 5-6 episodes.

Poor Renee went to the land of the Cashews and Nutso's.

    I love watching the show!

Seriously. I saw that scene and was like "WAT....Jack is the one that does that and she's the one that stops him! ....WAT TEH FFFF"

I got a feeling that this season is gonna be partially about her personal redemption in some fashion in the same sense that season 7 was Jack coming to terms with his own past.

After the initial shock of it all, I did think it was kinda cool though.

That blond working at CTU better get shot soon. I don't like her character at all. At least Chloe is a main character again, she never gets old and besides Jack may be one of the only original CTUers left alive from the earlier seasons.

Technically Tony is still alive. Technically.

I love it, sure it's story can go hide along with Lost but this is a show for cool people who like Taken and enjoy people dying in about 5 seconds every other minute.

Am I the only one that likes 24 stories?

But then...I did grow up on Robert Ludlum...

I did like how she practically told the guy in charge to go screw himself when he tried to buy her help with her badge.

She should be happy Jack came along now though, because I have the feeling Ortiz would've shut her down after she did that, no questions asked. Probably would've arrested her. Jack's the only character left on the show who has personal experience and understanding with the perceived possible necessity of the very extreme measures sometimes taken on the show.

Don't know. Wiki says that Fox and Kiefer would love to do another one and that talks would start after the season premier. So...people should be talking now. Wiki's source.

I think 24, after season 8 ends, will hold the records for espionage shows in both number of episodes(over Mission Impossible) and length of broadcast time(Avengers).

I also read on wiki that 8 will be the last season.... They decided to end it while it is still good.

Anyone just see the latest episode... 16, unbelievable ending.

Seriously though I really thought jack saved him though, he must of been seconds late because the boss still had his mask on.

Was watching when the season began, then it got really stupid IMO.

WTF is up with the fake NYPD crests and cars?

Fake NYPD crests? Im not from New York so I prob didnt notice.

When you think about the show, I mean really think about it you sorta wonder at how many things take place in the space of 24 hours. Multiple plots and villains emerge, tons of information is decyphered and Criminals are stopped. It seems to happen so fast that you forget it is really happening really fast.

Also there has tended to be a common trend since the first season. There is always a traitor. ALWAYS. Also we are always left feeling sorry for Jack. This isnt really a spoil more of a guess but Ill hide it anyway....

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
I think Renee is going to die... dont ask me why, its just her and Jack look like they about to you know fall in love and everything and being how serious this show is and Jack's lack of a dating life I figure he wont win even in the last season. I suspect a brutal devastating death for her.
