I am currently upload the enitre version 1.01 installer in one download and the sound patch in one download. This will be for people who wish to use the 1.02 patch.exe instead of downloading four different files.

Hi everybody.
First of all i want to congratulate everybody who has worked on this wonderfull mod, you guys or just grate. Im allready looking forward to this mod, since a few months. However i was having a realy realy hard time to install all of those diferent files from version 1.00 to 1.01 and all the translation stuff, to version 1.02. Anyway i had a problem with version 1.02 so i decided to delete everything and reinstall from the beginning. Unfortunatly i dindt find a 1.01 version with instller anymore. Ive installed the files from the link you posted, and its NOT the mod installer its the music files. in my teutonic folder i just have: data, sounds, nothing else and you whrote that you or uploading the sound patch rigth now. I don't get it??? Maybe im missing something?

Pilgrim..... i love you thank you very much. Ive installed 1.01 works fine, updated to 1.02 with installer, and it works fine untill now. Now im gonna try to update with the latest translation for 1.02. Last time i tried it caused me problems.

Thanks for taking your time to put his up. But I have another problem which is the same one as the problem I had while trying to install 1.01. The installation works fine half-way, but suddenly it says that there is some file that is related to eastern european building and has Chinese at the end (I'm not even Chinese) pops up and says that there's an error. It then gives me an option of aborting, ignoring or trying again. If I click ignore, there's the same problem again but with different file names. I really want to play this mod since I'm a fan of warhammer but every time I try, I fail.

I don't want to compare The Third Age mod and the Call of Warhammer mod but the Call of Warhammer mod seems too complicated to download. Can you make the download easiler like the Third Age mod? By the way, I think the Call of Warhammer mod is better.

Oh my god, now i cant play ANY type of battles
I must admit, for some one that dosnt have a lot of of thechnic skills on pc, its very complicated to get this mod to work. Im wating to start a campaign with a more or less stabil version since dec.25 . Anyway i will trie to reinstall everything AGAIN. AAAAGGHHH i want to play this lovely mod so much

Edit: I found out why i couldnt play battles and i also didnt have any music. I tried to play a battle on Medieval 2 vanilla, and look there: no music and also no battle (ctd). I have vista, so i tried to open medieval 2 as administrator, and strike, theres music and i can play all battles. So i guess that was also the reason why i couldnt play CoW. Sometimes the solutions are direct infront of your nose.

I totally agree. I've been waiting for this mod since Dec. 25th and the very fact that I can't download it pisses me off so much right now!!!! Aaaaaaaahhhhhh!!!!!!

First off, direct your installers to your main medieval 2 directory, no matter what they say.

Here's the installation order I followed and it works just fine:

1. Version 1.01 (found above)

2. Version 1.01 sound patch (also found above)

3. Version 1.01 translation (found here) (extract to the "teutonic/data" folder)

4. Version 1.02 patch (found here) (post 2)

5. Version 1.02 hotfix (found here) (extract to the "Teutonic" folder)

6. Version 1.02 translation (found here) (extract to the "teutonic/data" folder)

If you follow these directions exactly, you can play with the campaign and custom battles without frequent (there are still a few bugs in the campaign, but it's pretty stable) CTD's

Is it possible to host these downloads on filefront or something every time I try to download the 1.1 the site says all the download slots for my country are full. Having this file so difficult to get must really be harming this mod i think. The 1.2 is easy to find but it really needs 1.1 on a site that doesnt limit downloads and make you wait etc
