Lord of the Rings/Hamachi/See screen shots

This mod probably isn’t everybody’s cup of tea, but if you’re a fan of the “Lord of the Rings” movies you are absolutely going to love this mod. On a scale of one to ten, ten being the best rating this mod gets a 10 on the accuracy. Aesthetically flawless with the units that seem to be 100% accurate in appearance.

This mod uses the Alex game eng, so here is your excuse to get it if you don’t already.

I have only played custom battles against the AI and I am looking for some online gaming using Hamachi.

I also started a Hamachi network please login so we can play; there is a 16 person limit to the network.

Notice the Hobbits size compared to the Calvary trying to kill them. The Lothlrien Sentries are closest to the bottom of the picture I am referring to the little guys a bit higher.

These creature I have to show how they were able to apply this unit using the Alexander engine I have no answer for. Remember those prehistoric birds that flew over the good guys, grabbed a hand full of the then dropped them to their death well the unit exist in this mod.
Extremely well done. They are classified as skirmishers, like everything else they have their pros and cons. Cons consist of being vulnerable to missiles and high price. Pros once you win the archer battle or your opponent doesn't buy any missile units (your in like flint) or he ventures out a unit out side the archers umbrella just watch the destruction.

In closing don't sell yourself short, it's like a completely different game. The download is free, what have you got to lose??

I had no problems with the download, I didn't have to join anything or even offer a pound of flesh.

Well it is very simple. When i click on the download link it asks me to enter a password. failure to enter it means that you are not allowed to download it. Would you like to see a screenshot of the password required field to see that you are wrong?

I'll make a backup of ALX and start making attempts at installing it. In case I fail could you steal the instructions from their site since they don't ask you for a password?

The new link provided you don't need a password, it's free ware.

All your patches should have installers, so just directed it to the folder where your clean copy of Alexander is and hit next. It's a beauty because it's so easy and comes with a cool looking shortcut.
The last patch 2.08 you need WinRAR and it's the same thing extract to the folder you want it to go.

Yes you can play it on Gamespy like any other TW game. Just make sure to unistall Hamachi if you do. There is an option which allows you to keep all your setting when unistalling, use it.

Hamachi is great because it really cuts down on the Ping rate, that's why I use.

Meh i saw the army of the dead get raped by mumakil.. anyway i have a question jack, Only the Dwarves clans campaign seems to work. the Gondor, Mordor, Rohan and Isengard campaigns crashed when i tried to started them. i restarted the game to cancel the faction scripts as it told me but it still wont start. if i try to begin a campaign for those factions it crashes to desktop... any idea on how to fix it?
