No, you read that right, and no you're not dreaming.

Joe Johnston – director of the underwhelming third Jurassic Park – has confirmed that work has begun on a fourth move, with plans to follow it up with two other films
He told Boxoffice.com, “Well, there is going to be a Jurassic Park IV. And it’s going to be unlike anything you’ve seen. It breaks away from the first three — it’s essentially the beginning of the second Jurassic Park trilogy. It’s going to be done in a completely different way.
Well this is interesting. Of course by interesting I mean in the way George Bush's speeches were 'interesting'. I don't see how dinosaurs chasing people can be seen in a completely different way.
Spielberg’s 1993 original heralded a new dawn in special effects, but since then CGI dinosaurs roaming the earth have become mainstays on the big and small screen. However, while the two Jurassic Park sequels failed to replicate the awe generated from the first one, we’d be keen to see some raptors and T-Rex action in 3-D – assuming that the new trilogy would be shot in that format.
Surely this is the only reason behind it; to jump onto the 3D bandwagon (though I thought Avatar was okay, the 3D was pretty good).
Any thoughts?
