Main screen Issue

Hey there big fan of warhammer and total war so im very exited to get going but i have an issue

Basically my game installs perfectly but when i boot the game up it starts with the teutonic start up screen ( assuming warhammer doesn't have that )

Then it loads goes to main screen, there no writing and if i press one of the buttons it CTD's

Can anyone help, ive read the forum for hours but i can't see a solution.

What have you installed and in what order?

i installed it into the teutonic folder.

Also 7zip has been giving me troubles keeps comming up with achieve this and that.

Im really having issues with it

Did you rename or delete the old teutonic folder before installing?

i tryed both.

When you installed did you notice and remove the "Medieval Total War 2" that the installer puts behind the path just after you typed it? It sounds a bit like it can't find the files for the warhammer mod. What are the contents of your teutonic folder now?

My instillation pas was C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\medieval ii total war\mods\teutonic

I use steam but that should be ok, i renamed the teutonic folder But still the same result
but it has warhammer pictures and such, So im installing in the right place.

I tried again, It seems im missing things, could it be that i dont know how to use 7zip properly,

Basically i get up to the main screen an i can't click on any of the buttons, Also there is no writing.

Ive downloaded all 4 parts so im not sure

Do i need to install 1.01 before 1.02, If so thats my issue

Yes, you need to install 1.01 before 1.02. 1.02 only contains the files neccessary for the new campaign, units, and the Dark Elves.

This includes all the sound files.

Is there anywhere else i can download these files than megaupload, there really slow.
