Default Why my allied general became interloper?

I have started to play with Armenians (Haysdan). I have put allied government in town south-across mountains of Trebizond and than I have recruited allied general. No mater he remained in settlement all the time, he got that interloper trait and started to increase unrest by 5% every time. I have noticed that when I was playing Pontos, but since I had some other government options I forgot that problem. With Armenians allied government will be very common.

    Am I doing something wrong?

PS. I've installed v 1.2, but the screen still shows v 1.1, maybe there is a catch? (after that I have installed 1.2 fixes and min mod compilation)

If you have built a level 4 gov you must recruit a client ruler as governor.

Also interloper is on turbo. Never place a family member in a city with level 4 gov. They seem to get the interloper trait on the first turn. Leave him a second turn and it increases from 5% to 10%. I haven't checked, but my guess is that there is a 100% probability of a family member getting it (unless client ruler). Which is a bit ridiculous because you do need someone in the settlement to prevent it from rioting, at least until you recruit a client ruler. When you capture a settlement the old gov building will be 100% damaged, so destroy it before building your own factions gov building. If you repair it he will get the interloper trait. I am not sure if you can park family members in a city with level 4 building and a client ruler already installed but my guess would be that they would also catch the interloper bug.

Never mind. Allied general = client ruler

I believe the client ruler bug is from earlier versions of EB and was fixed with the 1.2 patch, it seems that you have installed the mod incorrectly. Did you install v 1.2 in your RTW directory (as you should have), or did you install it in the EB folder created from v 1.1?

Thanks guys for effort. Rep+ I finally made it today. I was sure I have installed everything as it should be...But I done it again today in every case. After 1st install today, when I clicked Eb shortcut, vanila RTW have started So, I done it all over again..and finally with no special reason it works now.

But generally speaking, I have suggestion for client ruler system (if not for EBI, than for new EBII) . Your faction members should be enabled to stay one turn in allied town - it is crucial when your empire become bigger, because that unrealistic fast exgoustion in game (it will be realistic if characters cover that distance in real 10-15 days, but in one season it is really ) So, they must rest, while going from one part empire to another. Only after second turn, population should feel uncomfortbale. If nothing, rulers and their officials where indeed coming to short regular visits to allied regions

I think if the allied city has been governed by a client ruler and his management level is higher than your family member, then it should be OK for your family member park in that city.
But the client ruler will seldom has higher management level than your general as the rome general are all trained in rome with good education environment.
