Traits question

faction Heirs / claimants don't seem to have any traits / ancillaries in the family tree. So presumably there is no way to modify it.

So how come their FIRST turn as king or queen they have traits already ?

Or can it be modified ? Anyone done so ?

Traits can be changed in CHARACTERS where there is always the faction leader's record.
