    Default Hunt for Gollum

    For those of you have not already heard of it (if anyone), the Hunt for Gollum is an unoffical nonprofit lotr tribute. It has recieved amazing reviews.

    Imo, its script is short of inspiring, but they are up against Tolkien afterall so all in all a good attempt. Also it morphs into a something more like a jackie chan film than a lotr film in the end battle scene, which sees about 20 orcs killed in increasingly unlikely martial arts moves by Aragorn, which is a little odd. The amazing likenesses with Gollum, Aragorn and Gandalf also was marred somewhat by the casting of a rather bemused looking horse as Arwen.

    A new mobile phone tower went up in a town in the USA, and the local newspaper asked a number of people what they thought of it. Some said they noticed their cellphone reception was better. Some said they noticed the tower was affecting their health.

    A local administrator was asked to comment. He nodded sagely, and said simply: "Wow. And think about how much more pronounced these effects will be once the tower is actually operational."

    Wow, thanks for telling me about this. I've just had a look at the trailers for it on the website, and I'll look at the main film tommorow. It looks pretty impressive is all I can say.
