Default How to properly edit a timescale?

How do I make the game last longer - more than 380 turns?

I don't want to damage the gameplay by making wrong settings, especially considering that there are 3 summers and 1 winter per year which is made up of 0.25 timescale as it is shown in the descr_strat file (located in ...Third_Age\data\world\maps\campaign\imperial_campaign).

Any helpful response would be very much appreciated, thanks.

P.S. Third Age is the best mod ever!

Why do you want to do so? You can still continue playing after the end of your campaign.

For how many more turns would I be able to play after the end of my campaign?

If you can play as long as you won't what is the point of setting a campaign time limit?

Does it mean you just can't win unless you conquer every settlement?

No, you can win by fullfilling the victory conditions. When the campaign time limit is over, you can't win anymore - but you can play anyhow as long as you want, you just never will see a victory vid, but is this really what you are playing for?

There are two ways to make your campaign last longer:
    1. As you suggested by editing the timescale (decreasing it), so more turns per year, but the consequence of this is that also takes a lot longer to get certain events, such as the barracks event etc.
    2. By editing the end_date in the same file. The advantage is that everything stays the same, but you also have more time to complete your campaign objectives.

Try geomod. I think the program has it there but its bugged and only shows 1/4 of a map somehow...
