Will you Mod Napoleon only? (i.e stop modding for Empire)

Just wanted to know
Personnaly I think I'll wait and see how moddable it will be - theres not going to be any tools but since its built from Empire (.esf, .lus, .pack) I think alot of currently used community tools will be easy to update to Napoleon.

In my eyes NTW has nothing over ETW to offer, unless CA releases tools which they wont so they can flog their DLC...

I won't leave Empire.
N:TW with only Europe in GC sucks

as a user and a great supporter of empire modders i hope the community sends certain companies a message by not supporting this release or help them improve the game through supplying them with ideas for future releases and "upgrades"

(gonna be interesting to see what was ripped from the mod commuity for NTW,or are we supposed to believe that through hard work and ingenuity the programmers came up with all these "wonderful new" features toted for NTW.)

with all the beautiful and well done available mods, i cant see any reason to buy NTW for a very long time after release......
i for one will wait till it goes platinum in a few years time and have the satisfaction of knowing i didnt get screwed again...
(although going platinum will mean that alot of copies will be sold, so in retrospect i hope i dont see it on the platinum shelf in the years to come!!)

Ppl still mod Rome, and I don't think the community will stop modding ETW soon, even if CA releases mod tools for NTW.

But about me, no, I think ETW offers a bigger range of possibilities, and I won't stop modding (for me only) ETW, maybe not even after the post-NTW game.

But Rome and Medieval werent as similar as Empire and Napoleon
What really gets me is the attrition system - i just wish they had kept their word and made new features backward compatible with Empire

I haven't seen it I have many plans, especially to change the map.

But I'm afraid it won't work with Empire They won't do it becouse they want us to buy N:TW....But they still want other guys to buy Empire.... Too much thinking

Yep, but Empire is bigger as map and factions.

This attrition feature will probably amount to stand outside 1 man from each unit dies, it wont be implemented in a realistic manner and will probably screw up the CAI, with it lovely Ill just stand here policy...

I need tools to do my mods my team cant do it without tools so yes i voted for only if tools are released i could do it anyway but it would take alot longer and be alot crap .

What I would like to see is a mod of NTW that essentially re-creates ETW. Maps, time period, factions, etc. I feel I never got to fully experience ETW and enjoy it because of how bad the BAI is. Now some mods like Darthmod 5.0 have done a great job of fixing it but pathfinding issues still exist which create big problems during battles. If NTW has a BAI that is actually playable, then I hope someone does a retro-mod back to ETW time period. I find 1700-1800 to be much more interesting time.

It won't happen, because I doubt that NTW will be more modable then ETW.

Same engine, only modding tools can help NTW
