sprites/lod
Hello There.
I was wondering if theres any news about the sprites/lod issues.
Since i just got myself a brand new pc so i could play etw in all his glory.
But When i started playing i had the same problem on my old pc, ugly graph and the sprites thing when i zoomed out. Iam running everything on ultra and it runs really smooth.

Here is the link to the thread Guuz posted as a possible solution. In it is the link that started it all there. It's in the tech forum, not the mod forum.
Nobody said it was a driver problem that I remember reading. Just once in a while a driver will actually help something. That is why I asked. It is still a CA problem in my opinion. Medieval2's lods can get ugly even on 19'' LCD.

I assume you meant to include some links in your post, but never mind I found Guuz linking to my tool on the second page of the Support Forum and also his original thread. But it's basically just him saying it works with no one disagreeing, so I shall continue to advertise my tool as working 100%.
And yes, 3D meshes turning into sprites is never a driver problem (but CA's in this case). It's people's expectations that makes them see things like improved graphics when installing new drivers.
