So I was taking another look at the map on the preview and it showed all the regions which would be in the MOD and I was wondering the islands inbetween Scotland and Iceland are they going to have settlements on them or just going to be islands that have no point except so the map is accurate?

Also will they be Scotish ,Viking or whoever lives on iceland at the start or Rebel?

Most islands have settlements.

Depending on the location these are usually mixed between Scot/Welsh/Irish and Viking.

Any news on whether or not there will be a welsh faction preview next or will the next preview be a different faction?

The Kingdom of Gwynned (sp?) uses the same culture as Scotland, so most of their units are the same, but you may have to wait until the release to see their unique units

They have a couple unique units if I recall correctly, alos Rhodri Mawr will make an appearance with a unique model

With our combat system you will find that they have an excellent fighting force when used appropriately

Sounds awesome
