100 year Total War (Kingdoms mod) In need of helpers and ideas! PROPOSAL STAGE

100 year Total War name not yet decided

Im thinking of starting up a new mod for Medieval II Total War: Kingdoms that is about the hundred years war, between England and France.

Of course there was many different conflicts during the hundred year war, which made it the 100 years war. But just for fun, we will make it that its just one big war, and the player chooses how he wants to play it.

These different conflicts could appear as a historical message or something like that.

This will be a mod wont be a major project and it will be released as a "basic" version at first, with not so many unnecissary features. And the game will keep on patching as it goes. Ive decided this to prevent the mod from dying. JUST in case!

Now, to do this I would need a team, and these are the slots I think we would need:
Mod Leader
One more researcher
Skinner
Skinner
2D Artist
Modeler(very basic)
Text Editor/Scripter
Mapper(Only need to be able to add regions and resize map

I can be Mod Leader, Skinner, possible 2D artist.

Please comment and give ideas.

For the pole:
Burgundy ofc, as far as i know, they played a major role in the 100 war. And maybe also scotland...

Anyway, is there already a 100 years war for m2tw or am i wrong?

First of all, This is a great idea. And you were right without the thread in M2TW center forums I would never gotten here.

I voted Scotland because I think that Scotland should be England's pain in the ass. Because England otherwise would be a certain superpower.

And about the map you'd maybe want to make it somewhat smaller. e.g. Less of Scotland and Denmark and more of southern France and Iberia. Maybe a Crusades like campaign in which England only owns Caen and a few other provinces and gets frequent reinforcements. And then maybe add in Spain, Portugal, HRE, Flanders and Milan to surround France with possible enemies.

Yes there is a 100 years mod for M2TW (La Guerre de Cent Ans - The Hundred Years War ) but not for Kingdoms.

And maybe I could help you out. Either as a researcher or as a map builder. (no experience in that one) PM me about what's possible!

Ahh... I couldnt find another 100 years mod. Btw the reason I was wanting to use that map was that it wouldnt need to be edited very much, that map already exists
