    Default Unspecified Error

Right, I have searched the internet, and this site, for a solution to this problem, and although I have found similar problems (very few of which were actually solved) I have yet to find a solution to my problem.

earlier today I downloaded the Darth mod from http://www.strategyinformer.com/pc/m...ategory63.html, after trying to use it, my game would load, but as I tried loading the campaign, it would crash, a little box appearing saying Medieval II: Total War has encountered an unspecified error and will now exit.

I have deleted the mod, uninstalled the game several times, deleted the entire Sega folder from my computer, reinstalled the game 4 times, tried everything I can, and it is still doing this.

the game has been running perfectly since I got it (several months ago) I have changed nothing on my computer since then.

    So, any help?

Are you using XP, Vista or 7?

After you deleted what you could find, did you run a registry cleaner?

Just install it follow the instructions and whatever it finds, let it repair.

    did that, no difference

Should I uninstall, run the cleaner, reinstall?
