    APPEAL TO THE PEOPLE OF GOOD WILL OF THE FORUM

    we need of aid in the historical search, would want that you helped us supplying information to us on the armies of the several regions (AOR) been involved in the map in the following way:

    - name of the origin region (ancient name)

    - name in ancient language of the units

    - age in which these units existed

    - characteristic equipment of the units

    or:

    list in ancient language of the titles of nobility, military, bureaucratic-administrative and of court of the various statal formations be them in the various ages

    well i could help for Croatia, for AOR units

    but even more i might help with some usefull informations about Avars...
    pictures done by Ian heath etc... reliable as it can be

    and for Georgian units i have seen page before...wow so manny armored units, who could pay for that

    first od all, the Avar Khaganate is separated in two parts

    First Avar Khaganate ( 567-680)
    Second Avar Khaganate (680-804)

    it also considered that this split is to "rough" so Bona 1988 sugested more specific split

    to sum up,after 675. in 1 Avar Khaganate is mostly eroped, after 675 we have strong migration of mongoloid race types, iis assumed due to archeological findings taht after 675 we have complete reorganization of Avar Khaganate, and new dinasty, therefore, there us a reason for speaking about First and Second Avar Khaganate

    in First Avar Khaganate, main power of Avar army were horsemen with strong armor, and long lances, long double-edged swords , and so called reflex bow
    they were folowed by light cavalary ( of turkic peoples mostly such as Kurigurs, Bulgars etc) as well as Gepid and Slavic infantry

    in Second Avar Khaganate, main power is maneuverable light cavalary, and usage of one-edged sabre has risen significantly

    and also ornamentals from 1 and 2 Avar Khaganate are significantly different


    also for Croat AOR units, if your alredy working with TGC, you might ask them for use of some of their Croat units...

    I saw on your site the campaign map city of Constantinople, it looks quality with the little Hippodrome and Hagia Sofia.

    I saw in another Byzantine/Roman mod for Rome TW that they were putting it into the battle map as well and have some screenshots of the modified extra walls at the west side of the city. Will you be attempting this as well? Just a question, I know the code is quite limited when implementing peoples ideas.

    we are studing how modify the cities in battle map...there are no tutorials...if a modder (like the ones who realized the cities, as example, for Der Dreissige Jahre Krieg mod) can help us we are really glad...

    you could ask Bello Mundi team for cooperation, they'r doing the same...maybe together you'd be faster and better
