    Icon5 RTR/NTW World Heavyweight Title?

Perhaps we should have a World Title for the RTR/NTW mods to make it more fun for the MP players who play them?

    What does NTW stand for?

I know RTR is, for some strange reason there are a lot of people out there who don't want to play mods, it's beyond me.

JackDionne: a few reasons why some people do not want to come in touch with mods

) some are taking the EULA to serious and thinking about it might be illegal or screw up the game/pc without chance of official support

) some do just underestimate their skills to be able to install it correctly

) some are scared of downloading anything not made by an official company or themselves

) some think "nah i don't need that - the original is just fine"

) some just don't know enough about pc's to be able to fix anything that doesn't work at the first try

) some install a mod - getting a ctd or two and panicly deinstall the mod a few mins later

) some don't even know what a mod is

    ) etc.

I know each of these reasons is not worth to be discussed anyways but most of them ppl thinking so you can't convince to go for a mod.

Another reason, mods are always worse than the original.

How many mods did you try out to have that opinion?

I have the following mods installed:
    300 WoS
    Battles of Asia
    Darth Mod
    EB
RTR: Extreme, Fate of Empire, The Iberian Conflict
    Goths
    IB:FD, SAI
    Iberia Total War
    Lord of the Rings
    Macedon Expansion
    Norman Invasion
    Rese Gestae
    Rise of Persia
    Ruins of Glory
    The Greek Wars
    Three Kingdoms
    Troy
    Viking Invasion

The ones I have are all very good and do what the modders wanted them to do in respect of time period and historical accuracy. Ninety percent of the mods offer a pile of new maps to use. The mods also offer more units to choose from that are historic for the most part.

Tell us what mods you have actually downloaded and tried? I am interested in knowing how many.

Campaign wise, the real good mods make the game 10x better. Online wise there are only 2 good mods available: NTW2 for RTW and Retrofit for M2.

NTW, RTE and BoA are the best MP mods for RTW in my opinion. I think more MP players should try it out!

I don't like the abbreviation 'NTW'. I'm getting the RTW mod and the new piece of from CA confused.
