great find but i doubt that you will need allies to beat the ai

If playing as anyone, not just Austria against the frogs, will it be easy to get decent amounts of cash from the AI Brits, for the war chest once their allied?

Yeah, the Brit AI better be free with the Pounds because all those soldiers and their equipment cost alot of money. I wonder how it will prioritize between the Players faction and the other Coalition AI factions when they bombard it for money every turn.

Perhaps the British will have a certain amount of automatic income each term based on their offscreen colonies, making them one of the wealthiest factions in the game?

I just noticed the two new Building Descriptions. Finally, CA has opened up with some info.

hm on the german page they gave out info about france and great britain, and about a french unit, but not about austria

Never really enjoyed Austria in ETW hopefully that will change in NTW. But still good find.

Poor Austria will constantly have a target on it's back. I will play them last.

I wonder if Poland will be included, as historically it was weak and a puppet but did gain territory during the Napoleonic wars.

Well I'm guessing they will announce Prussia next. Austria during this time is at war with France constantly. And France looks to Prussia as an ally, while Austria looks to Russia and GB. Man Prussia and Austria don't get along to often.

Don't forget that from 1809 until 1813 Austria was "allied" to France and sent soldiers into Russia during 1812 along with Prussia. France was also allied to Russia form 1807 until 1812. I hope there is at least a chance that France can construct anti-British alliances and won't be in a constant war against all of Europe. Interviews seem to suggest that this will be possible but difficult.

As Sol Invitcus said, Austria and Prussia were allied with France in the 1812 Invasion. Also, Prussia tended to be an enemy of France, like Austria.

My girlfriend's Austrian, and her best friend is "Prussian," and it's rather amusing watching the microcosm of 300 years of national rivalry going on between them.

Anywho, I'd rather CA announce the less than obvious. I'm still really hesitant about this game, so how about show something interesting and unique. I'm sure everyone'll be really shocked when they announce Russia next...
