    Icon14 Post your replays here!

I thought this would be a fun idea. Post custom battle replays here and tell us what version you played on, who you where, what faction you fought, and the difficulty you played on. And don't forget to attach your replay

    How to download a replay:
    1. Download the replay you wish to watch.
    2. Extract the replay to your "teutonic\replays" folder.
    3. Run the game. Select "Load" from the main menu. Choose "load a replay" (or soething like that). Choose the replay.
    4. Watch and enjoy!

    How to save a replay:
    1. Fight a battle
    2. Once you win (or lose), click on the "save replay" button.
    3. Go to your "teutonic\replays" folder. Add the replay to a .zip (or .rar) file.
    4. Attach it to your post, and let other people know of your victory (or defeat)

IF YOU ARE USING WINDOWS 7!
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
If you are using windows 7, look in this folder (example: C:\Users\your name\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\teutonic).

    Template
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
    Faction Used (who you were)-
    Enemy Faction-
    Difficulty-
How tough you thought the battle was-
    Map-
    Amount of money available-

Also, name your replay like this
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
"the faction you were"- "Your TWC account name"

    I'll start.
Faction Used (who you where)- Reikland (they are the best!)
    Enemy Faction- Khorne
    Difficulty- Medium
How tough you thought the battle was- It would have been tougher if I didn't have awesome armor, but it was still pretty tough (Bloodletters are dangerous!)
    Map- Grassy Plains
Amount of money available- 1,000,000 (Those deamons are expensive!)

Btw, whoever gets a Heroic victory being the Beastmen and fighting the Undivided Chaos (with a signifigant amount of deamons in their army), I'll give you rep! If you want all custom battle factions available, go here (if you want to get the beastmen)!

Strange, I had expected this thread to gain a loyal core of "replayists"

    It's a good idea nonetheless!

I'm going to do that battle next.

I did a battle as the High Elves vs the Dwarves, but I forgot to save it! Looks like I'll have to redo it again

    Here's my next replay

Faction Used (who you where)- Averland
    Enemy Faction- Kislev
    Difficulty- Medium
How tough you thought the battle was- It was pretty tough. Kislev has some pretty tough troops! It would have been worse if I decided to fight in the snow
    Map- Grassy Plains
    Amount of money available- 1,000,000

    Here's another one! (I know, I'm a maniac)

    Faction Used - Hochland
Enemy Faction - 2 Beasts of Chaos armies
    Difficulty - Medium
How tough you thought the battle was - It wasn't that hard (because of my defenses). It would have been a lot tougher if I fought it on the open field or in the forests, but boy, where there a lot of them
Map - Danzig forest, with Large City (level 4 defenses). I'm the defender.
Amount of money available - 1,000,000

    Warning: Large battle included!

Still no go, and I am using windows 7. No appdata to speak of, nor any luck when I run a search for the term 'replay'.

When you open your computer screen, click the "Organize" button at the top left corner. Click the "Folder and Search options" button and a dialog box with a list of options will come up. Go to the "view" tab and find the option named "show hidden files, folders, and drives" and check it. Click the "Apply to folders" button at the top. Now you can see the "appdata" folder.

I'll have some replays from my campaign posted here after I get a compilation together. Right now it's my 2,000 Dwarfs against over 6,000 Night Goblins. *Twitches*

I won the battle. My company of Dwarven Slayers slew over 670 Goblins. Now let's see if I can save this.

Here's an interesting one. I decided to bring back an old hatred

Faction Used (who you where)- Dwarves
    Enemy Faction- High Elves
    Difficulty- Medium
How tough you thought the battle was- It was very tough. I think you'll see why if you watch it for yourself
    Map- Grassy Plain
Amount of money available- 1,000,000 (but I added no upgrades or experinece to any troops on either sides)

Heroic victory. Averland vs Dark Elves. Grassy plains. MAx money.
I tried to fight with cavarly in the middle and infantry on the sides. It worked but could be bettere with cavarly in normal formation.

    @The Holy Pilgrim

I like your battle...and your chance for victory was good, but unfortunately you fail to protect the rear, and lost artillery...and that was a critical strike.Good battle anyway...dwarfs has fought with courage to the last.
Yeah, I forgot to check the High Elf cavalry, so they caught me unprepared.

But it's nice to lose a couple battles every now and then. It only helps you learn

Unfortunately, I never had Vista so I can't really help you find what you need. But maybe there is someone else who can help you with this. I mean, out of all the people who hae installed this (or any other) mod, there should be a few that know. Maybe try posting that in the "Bugs" thread.
