    Icon4 strange!

When i had installed the 1.00 version some artillery model like Hellcannon were mmissed...they looked like the original artillery model of MTW2...when i installed the 1.01 version i still had this problem but i resolved it reinstalling the mod many times...now i've installed the 1.02 version and i've the same problem but i am unable to resolve it reinstalling the mod (i've tried it many times but the problem is still there)!!!!

    So:
    1-anyone have the same problem?

2-can anyone tell me how can i resolve it?

3-if noone has this problem, can someone tell me what may cause this problem?

4-if noone know what cause this problem, can someone tell me how the mod loads artillery models (to allow me to find the cause of this problem)?

    PLEASE, SOMEONE HELPS ME!!!
    I'M DESPERATE!!!!

Did you unpack your Medieval 2 folder? That may be the problem, as my war machines look fine.

The teutonic unpacker will mess your warhammer game up (I know, I tried).

First, go to your unpacker folder (C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\tools\unpacker), then double click the "unpack_all.bat". This will unpack your Medieval 2 folder (not your mods, which is important).

IMPORTANT!: Do not close the unpacker while it is unpacking! It will close when it's done!

Once you do that, download the cfg at the bottom of the page to your teutonic mod folder "C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\teutonic". It'll ask to overwrite, say yes.

This might work. I'm not sure because I never had the problem you're having. Try it anyways.

    Tell me if this helps

That is pretty strange. Im running 1.02 with no problems for these models. I also didn't that problem with 1.01 either. I didn't unpack either.

    I suggest

    1. Remove Kingdoms and medieval2 completely and do a fresh re-install.
    2. Then and this is important you need the 1.5 Kingdoms patch ( maybe this is your issue ).

There are two versions Im aware of a regular one and a gold version if you have gold version. I have the regular version+regular version 1.5 kingdoms patch. Not real sure what the differences are between regular and gold but I think the mod was made on regular version.

    3. Install 1.01 COW mod and music
    4. Install 1.02 patch

I believe it comes with the game IIRC. If not just google "Medieval2 TW Kindoms unpacker" It was released by CA.

In Medieval II Total War/tools/unpacker you should find the following files:

    listcontents.bat
    ReadMe.txt
    unpack_all.bat
    unpack_americas.bat
    unpack_britannia.bat
    unpack_crusades.bat
    unpack_teutonic.bat
    unpacker

if it was so simple i would do it...but i've see on google and there isn't...can you post it or post a link for the download?

    in that folder i've only:
    listcontents.bat
    ReadMe.txt
    unpack_all.bat

why anyone wont to post the entire folder?i think that it is only 600\700kb!!!!please halp me!!!!

Ok I tracked this thread down here^^
    http://help.sega.com/index.php?_m=do...215&nav=0,1,19
Which brought me to this. This is 1.5 patch for Kingdoms ( which comes with unpacker )^^

Note you must download the appropiate version for your game.

Note Im not sure what the differences are between gold versions and I don't think the mod team is using gold edition but perhaps it's still compatible. I do know the mod uses 1.5 Kingdoms patch.

Another note is the unpacker although released by CA is totally at your own risk according to them.

You shouldnt need to run an unpacker for a mod. Most mods files are already unpacked. In this case COW especially as Ragnarok was able to use some submods in his version of COW.

I suggest a Reinstall. As the game is obviously not reading the Hellcannon siege model in its modded appearance (probably hijacked monster bombard model designation). so when it reads monster bombard it shows a monster bombard.

At least that is my take offhand without looking deeper into the problem.

I have noticed some normally accessible files are not listed in the data folder. Basically unmoddable and unsharable for the time being.

I didn't unpack it either and mine runs fine. He still needs the 1.5 Kingdoms patch regardless of unpacker though as has been mentioned by Isilendel that the mod is on 1.5 Kingdoms.

Concerning posting the tool folder Im not really sure if we can and you still need 1.5 Kingdoms patch
anyway so I suggest you download it.

Don't know what to tell you then as I have updated to 1.5 and I have all unpacker files listed in my other post and I won't be uploading the folder because Im not sure it's allowed.
