Since Shogun i have always been a true TOTAL WAR FAN and enjoyed your work for many years i have created things to support you but never really posted anything on the internet.

Its come to my conclusion that you will not be releasing MOD TOOLS WHICH you could create your own maps, soldiers, weapons, and sounds which would be amazing but i read in a few threads that you have confirmed that you wont be releasing them.

Hell CA i know theirs so many criers and gosh i know im also a prick a daft bloody Brit lol but if you did ever release mod tools your community would not just grow you will get a new forum a new life a new base of your games you will get so much support that your games will become better than call of duty and fable and gears of war halo etc things like that you know what i mean like how big people want them when they release.


If i was to kill myself for mod tools for this community i would do it to let everyone enjoy your games think of this as a joke but im quite serious and i really would like to see you create mod tools sometime soon.

Im serious please understand my words please release mod tools.

No laugh please please support and say yes for mod tools if we dont keep at it we will never get them if i have to wine and cry for 20 more years for mod tools so be it ffs but im not going to give up untill i see support for them.

Just think guys that you can create your own nice maps and units and a nice rifle for your trrops to have and ammo load out and everything ? i mean in what sense are CA going to relise release mod tools will make this game EPIC.

Thier DLC is not really anything to mods yeah i dont know why they praise thier DLC above mod tools whats the point ?

Maybe a forum wide hunger strike would put pressure on them. I doubt whether they have any intention of ever releasing mod tools. I think the reason that they changed the way files are organized was precisely to make it very difficult for modders so why would they now go to the effort to make it easier again? I can't believe that some of the very talented modders for TW can't find a way to open up the map files. As long as modders can add units; which they can do already; and change the map I would be happy.

I salute your spirit dogs, As my interest is in modding I hope you get somewhere For myself I shall stick to the RTW and MTW2 game engines for modding! I think CA/Sega could not care less about modding in future releases, NTW ect. So if a RTW2 gets released, So what! you will be stuck with vannila and can compare your elite and semi elite DLC units to your hearts content, Still it will save space on the TWC , We will not need mod forums.

Really, do you believe that after all the discussion on all the forums about the need of mod tools, interviewers asking about mod support, they would release them just because you went there and told them to release them?

Thankyou very much well its going to be like this they have talks with thier community they show why they cant release mod tools OR they release mod tools and provide the community something needed the most.

Although this is a decent plea, it's not going to get you "mod tools"

CA has absolutly no reason to release them. Our great savior Mr. Kieran Brigden said, to paraphrase, "ETW is moddable enough without tools"

Now, don't missunderstand me, I DO feel they should release them, however the sooner people realize this is developer is led by the mediocrity of SEGA, the sooner they'll see support and development for ETW is DONE.
