Well, i just watched it, i wasn't expecting much and after watching it, I'm left with a "its frakkin great", yet at the same time it feels hollow. The entire movie was good don't get me wrong, there were some explosive moments hahaha? the Subsiders were creepy to imagine, even the vamps were scared as they should be.

This movie was full of win, yet it needed to be explained more, like flashbacks back to when the virus started turning people into vamps, such things like that would be a nice filler.

The ending and the cure was pure gold comedy, i don't think it was intended by the producers for the audience to chuckle and laugh abit, but eh.

    7/10 from me eh?

I actually was the first to comment on the Escapist's movie bob's review of it. He called it the, "Anti-Twilight" Which I assume perfectly characterizes it? I'll go see it next weekend hopefully. I think I'll like it a lot.

I thought it was ok...not great. I thinking the casting carried this movie though. I am sure it will end up in my movie library.

I heard the ending blew balls. Or at least a lot of my friends ended up hating the ending.

Well, look at I am Legend, has any vampire movie ever had a good ending?

I feel like Day Breakers and the BOOK I am Legend are continuities, are along a similar theme, as in I am Legend the book, the vampire like things were becoming human like(but even got to get out into the sun, unlike DB's) but humans became the things that were hunted in both so yeah. I dno what I'm saying.

any vampire movie is an anti twilight movie, as twilight is an anti vampire movie it seems.

Tho if any movie were to be the antithesis to twilight, it'd probably be Let the Right One In.

I just watched this movie. The cure was so ridiculous. They should have thought of something more convincing. It ruined the whole plot.

DayBreakers was so bad. If you never laughed you'd have cried.

There was one part were a jeep crashes into a hill then randomly explodes. It was like something from the Simpsons.

It doesn't remotely resemble Twilight, except for the basic fact that it includes vampires. They're both poor films anyway.

I couldn't even remember the ending. The scene where they ripped off the guys head and it twirled slow-mo in the air was amusing though. There were quite a few scenes that were a bit OTT; for example when someone crashes and flies at least 60 meters before conveniently landing in the shade.
