Christopher Lee's Concept Album

Though he's mostly known now as Saruman, Willy Wonka's uncaring dad, and the ever-popular Count Dooku, Christopher Lee has long been interested in the metal arts. After appearing on songs for bands such as Rhapsody of Fire, Denmark's The Tolkien Ensemble, and Inner Terrestrials, Lee thought it was time to go out on his own and record Charlemagne, a concept album about the first Holy Roman Emperor. The album will no doubt get a little bump from Lee's popularity as an actor, but make no mistake: it is unquestionably the best music coming about a King of the Franks this year.

This is definitely something I'm going to back, purely for the sheer level of win.

C. L. is among the coolest people in the world (the coolest old man for sure). I heard something about some metal album but I guess this is it.
