cannot repack ui!?

Firstly Id like to apologize in advance if this issue has been addressed elsewhere in these forums but i did a search and i couldnt find a solution. Anyhow Im trying to add pictures to my UI.pack file and i cant repack the UI when i attempt to do so it goes fine until it gets to portraits and goes to not responding or it just never finishes. Ive left it working for as long as 8 hours... can someone please tell me what im doing wrong? Thanks in advance.....

I'm not sure what your problem is but if you're using the Pack File Manager to add some files to a mod pack, then the PFM must be in the same place (folder) as the principal folder you're trying to add something from. So if you want to add something from an ui or unitmodels folder, place that folder in the same folder as your PFM and then open up PFM and locate those files to add from there.
