The actor who play Napoleon Bonaparte in NTW?

Can someone confirm who will play Napoleon Bonaparte in NTW? I have watch the trailer and I think the actor is Stephane Cornicard in the English and French Trailers. Also I think he voice the Spanish and German Trailers, but I don't think he voice the Italian. Do you know if he is Napoleon in the game also?
I am in love with this actor: He plays wonderful Liquid Snake in the French Metal Gear and Gabe Logan in French Syphon Filter.

oh i didnt know that napoleon from the trailer is an actor... it pretty much seemed to be a virtuel animation...

Yeah Im fairly sure its a super-high poly animation

It is a computer generated image, no actor.

They claim they used his death mask to make the face, because I think people were complaining that he looked very little like he did in most paintings.

I find this very questionable given the glaring differences between the cinematic portrayal of Napoleon and his paintings. Here is an image for comparison:

I prefer CA's portrayal of Napoleon,even if the other is the way he looked like

Are you sure that painting isn't of him when he was a lot younger? He looks much older on the right.

This is kind of a young painting of Napoleon, near the end of his life he would have been much fatter (although that changed right before his death, he lost a lot of weight). One thing about paintings too is the artistic would have greatly altered what Napoleon would actually have looked like and made him much more "idealistic" looking that he was.

There is one theory that Napoleon's death mask is not his death mask, but I find the evidence kind of flimsy, personally. Although I will say this, look at the ears in the painting and the ears on the NTW Napoleon, they are surpisingly the exact same. His mouth and eyes are different, but that is a combination of Napoleon being pissed off (kind of) in the NTW trailer, and the fact that the artist curled Napoleon's lips and made his eyes probably much fuller than they were to be, again, more "idealistic".

Well, I would say more "any paintings" and I don't personally see any similarity between CA's Gears of War model and Napoleon's death mask.

As for the voice actor... I'm sure he is not awful at portraying imaginary characters, provided there are no constraints on what the character should sound like.

I'm sure you all know that of course,as for who he is I have no idea.

All I can say is that they used Vin Diesel for the Halo voice in Multiplayer.

Those oil paintings were hardly accurate anyway, like someone else already said. The reason Goya was so controversial is because he painted the Spanish royalty the way they actually looked (like a bunch of inbred, grimy losers) instead of the classic fancy-pants angelic and herculean portrayals. Normally a dangerous move for an artist, but I don't think Goya gave a f* because his brain was screwed up from lead in the paint which drove him insane...

I think the character in the game looks more like Herbert Lom than Napoleon himself, guess that says it all really

add the time, paintings of kings, emperors etc. often didn't look exactly like the one being portrayed because the painter would make them look more pretty, powerfull etc. so you cant really count 100% on old oil paintings.

But the voice is from a locutor from history channel...I read it in some place...
